Glitz, glamour and exceptional talent were on full display at this year’s SurreyFE Hair & Beauty Competition, also known as Surrey’s Got Talent. Hosted by Brooklands Technical College, the event welcomed students from East Surrey College, Activate Learning and NESCOT to compete across a range of exciting categories.Â
The competition provided a fantastic platform for students to showcase their creativity, technical ability and passion for the industry. The categories included ballroom hairstyling, full body massage and TV and film-themed makeup, demonstrating both the range of skills and the high standard of work produced by learners across Surrey.Â
The Judging was carried out by a panel of experienced industry professionals, who faced a difficult task of selecting winners from an exceptionally strong field of competitors.Â
East Surrey College is proud to celebrate the success of our students, with Charlie K achieving 3rd place in the Level 2 Beauty Therapy Prom Makeup category, and Tiffany P securing 2nd place in the Level 3 Beauty Therapy Full Body Massage category.
The event once again demonstrated why the SurreyFE Skills Competitions remain a highlight of the academic year, with a display of the incredible talent and future potential of the current students at all Surrey Colleges.
