12 December 2025
On Thursday 11 December, students and staff at East Surrey College enjoyed a fun-filled day at the College’s Festive Fair, organised by the Enrichment team and held in the Auditorium.

The Hair and Beauty department lit up the event with free nail painting, hair spraying, and glitter body art stations. Adding to the festive fun, Enrichment Officer Jordan Johnson ran a lineup of Christmas games, including Pin the Nose on Rudolph and Guess the Elf’s Name.

Cards and decorations designed and created by our level 1 Art & Design students were also being sold to raise money for the Lucy Rayner Foundation, with those left over being sold at a pop-up in the Belfry Shopping Centre. So far, the Art & Design team has raised over £180 for the charity. Nadia Darcy joined her ESOL Entry Level 2 students, who had their own enterprise project. They crafted festive baubles and Christmas wreaths which were being sold at the fair as part of their business cycle.

A biscuit decorating station also allowed fair goers to get creative with icing and sprinkles. Keeping the sweet theme, Reanne Lumbo managed a stool of sweet treats and refreshments to keep everyone fueled throughout the afternoon.
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event. The Winter Fair was a great reflection of our community, highlighting the creativity and enthusiasm of our students.
