On Thursday 21 August, East Surrey College students joined hundreds of thousands of people across the nation eagerly awaiting to collect their GCSE students.
After months of hard work and commitment, students studying Maths and English as part of their fulltime programme joined adult learners in collecting their GCSE results from the Sports Hall. Many were thrilled to receive the grades they needed and celebrated with non-alcoholic fizz and photos while they caught up with their tutors.

Maths Lecturer, Jarin Tasnim Lipi was among the staff celebrating with students:
‘I’m so proud of all our GCSE students and the hard work they’ve put in this year. It’s been inspiring to see their resilience and determination, and I’m delighted to see their efforts reflected in today’s results. Wishing them every success as they move forward to the next stage of their journeys.’
Thank you to all the staff and students who joined us for Results Day and congratulations to those who, through hard work and dedication, managed to get the grades they needed.
