24 February 2026
On Wednesday 24 February East Surrey College hosted its annual Higher Education Fair, an opportunity for students to explore progression routes beyond college.

Regional universities represented included Birbeck University of London, London Metropolitan University, UAL and Royal Holloway who all run an extensive range of degree level qualifications ranging from the arts to sciences for those wanting to study locally.

Other national universities included the Universities of Brighton, Winchester, Chichester and Northumbria, who shared information about their courses, as well as giving students an insight into city life, their extracurricular societies, and student unions. Â
Saima Qureshi, Careers & Employability Advisor echoed the success of the event, saying:
“It was fantastic to host the Higher Education Fair, with a great turn out from universities and students alike. Our wide range of Higher Education providers had many different specialisms, giving our students the opportunity to explore all their options. It was great to see so many students chatting and engaging with the university representatives, who I’d also like to thank for kindly giving their time to join us here today”Â
