Clare’s Law gives people the right to know if their current or ex-partner has any previous history of violence of abuse. The scheme is named after Clare Wood, who was tragically murdered by her abusive ex-boyfriend in 2009. Domestic Violence – Clare’s Law
If you have any concerns about a partner or ex, or believe you may be at risk in the future, you can complete the form or visit your local police station. You can also ask for information about the partner or ex of a family member, friend, or neighbour, if you think they may be at risk of domestic abuse.
